Chapter 15: Gen TripX 1985-1995

This is a wild card.   A few years ago I named this generation, “generation suicide,” thought it in bad taste and I took it down off this web site. Lately, what I’ve notice is their not “Generation Suicide” but they could be “Generation suicide bomber!” They’re angry, very serious, in peril and they have a sense of entitlement. They feel they are entitled to jobs that pay a livable wage; the ability to go to school without being in hundreds of thousand of dollars in debt.  They want parents that give a shit. They’re not willing to take jobs for $1 an hour. 

They’re the first generation in 50 years to organize and show signs of civil unrest.  I call them GetripX, which is short for Generation XXX; triple X meaning hardcore and also the triple unknown. This generation is on the front line and they’re beginning to realize it.  I do think you will see a lot more from them.
