Entrepreneur of The Year (New Jersey 1997)
A member of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, Farash won Entrepreneur of the Year (New Jersey 1997). This award goes to the entrepreneur that achieves the highest standards of professionalism.

Honored Citizen of the Year (1998)
Farash was awarded Honored Citizen of the Year (Honor Legion Police Department’s State of New Jersey) 1998. This accolade was primarily the result of Farash donating computers to member’s of law-enforcement (or their families) if there was a perilous situation and his assistance to Englewood Cliffs and other police departments in Northern New Jersey computerize and trained law-enforcement on programs written for law-enforcement which Farash provided, pro-bono.
Farash also donated technology creating computer labs for Pediatric Wards in Bergen County Hospitals.
Additionally, Farash donated computers to students that were injured and unable to attend school (citation pending).
