Daniel Farash Biography
Daniel Farash, 58, was born on the Lower East Side of Manhattan at 10 moved to Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. Farash attended The University of Miami graduating in 1984 with a B.B.A. in Accounting & Finance (Dean’s List).
After graduating Farash worked in the computer service field. At 24, Farash started All Service Computer Rental (ASCR) in 1986. Farash was CEO and President for 15 years until 2001. ASCR provided technology to fortune 500 companies. Often within hours. ASCR was known as the gold standard in the industry. In 1996 he sold the majority interest of the company to Prospect Street Venture Capital.
After leaving the conventional business world Farash has been involved in several social awareness activities and charitable endeavors. Farash departed from a high-paying position in the business world because “it was getting too harsh…(and)…I felt my time and energy would be better spent in endeavors that could possibly improve society.” Farash has also made several informative documentaries.
Over the last six years Farash has been a student of high level cyber criminality and terrorism.
Farash started a 501(c)(3) not for profit charity in 2008. In 2013 Farash put it down. In late 2020, Farash has decided to go back and focus on the charity Project Millennium Three. With its focus on helping individuals that have been victims of cyberbullying.
Farash presently resides in East Hampton, New York.
